Each Season Competes For Your Attention
Red House Games would like to present you with our first game, Silver Linings!
Silver Linings is a game for all ages, it can be played by 2 to 4 people. With three different game modes, co-op, tag-team and competitive. The goal of the game is that each season wants to be the year's best, and in order to be considered that, players must use weather and event cards to increase your own overall score or decrease your opponent's. But watch out, Major Disasters can ruin the year for everyone and even disrupt the game!
Sometimes the seasons will put aside their games for one day! Midseason's Day, Vacation Time, Holiday Cheer or New Years... Each of these cards will increase everyone's score as well as provide a helpful effect everyone can benefit from!
Sadly, sometimes major disasters can ruin the year for everyone. Wildfires, Earthquakes, Hurricanes and Tsunamis will decrease everyone's points and cause an effect that would be detrimental for all players. Normally most Competitive and Tag-Team only have one Major Disaster per game, but Co-op has all of them and the game's victory will be even harder to achieve and require more cooperation!
Each Season is controlled by it's own spirit. The Spring Doe and Stag, the Summer Lynx, the Autumn Fox and the Winter Owl! Each of them has their own little tale to tell!
Their hooves brushed away the frozen dirt,
Sprouting Bluebells and Tulips from the earth’s crust.
Their calls awoke the world from its hibernation.
Its paws waded through the crystal cool pools.
Colours painted the skies and songs were sung.
Another sun-burnt dream and iced lips.
It caught the leaves that fell from their homes up high.
Gusts and winds bringing with them a new dawn.
The sun sets sooner and the stars awaken.
With each wingbeat comes a new flurry.
White falls upon the palette ground of infinite colour.
Rebirth is only beneath the frozen dirt.
